Mission Statement: 

 

"We are committed to teaching Christ-centered truths in a safe and fun atmosphere. Our goal is to reach children on their level with the love and hope of Jesus Christ."

 

 

Children truly are the heartbeat of Good News Assembly. We firmly believe that children are not only our tomorrows, but they are also our TODAY! Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." (NIV)  Here at Good News Assembly, we are committed to helping you as parents to "train up your child." You will find that we take the highest care in ensuring your child's safety with our well-qualified workers and leaders. Our facilities are designed to encourage growth and community, and our curriculum is based on solid, biblical lessons. We believe that church should be a place where children want to be and where creativity is encouraged as they develop in their relationship with God and others.

Who We Are... 

 

 

 

 

Sunday morning church will never be the same again! Every Sunday, the kids of High Voltage, the children's ministry of Good News Assembly, meet in the High Voltage Room at 10:00 a.m. for crazy time of excitement, music, games, contests, puppets, video, and more! Every service is packed from beginning to end with performances by our very own H.V. Puppet/Drama Team, fun multimedia in our opening countdown, song service and illustrated lesson, and a powerful message from God's Word--the Bible! Open to all kids ages 6-12, HVKC is a place where children can learn about God on their level in a fun, safe, and friendly atmosphere. Our staff consists of well-qualified senior and junior leaders that have a heart for loving kids and serving Christ. Special events throughout the year include our Annual MEGA Chocolate Raffle, March Mission's Madness, "St. Cloud's Greatest Egg Hunt," Pepsi Sunday, Kid's Camp, Sport's Day, City-Wide Kidz Summer Fun Fest, Thanksgiving Coloring Contest, Crazy Christmas Celebrations, New Year's Eve Bash, and much more! Come see what all the excitement is about! Join us every Sunday on the 2nd Level from 10:00-11:30 a.m.

 

High Voltage Kid's Church...Living a high-powered, out-of-this-world life for Christ! [Acts 1:8]

 

THE MINISTRIES OF HIGH VOLTAGE KID'S CHURCH:

• BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) is our foreign missions program for children. This ministry gives kids the chance to reach out and make a difference in missions. Through BGMC, children are introduced to the needs of other children and the issues they face as well as to the missionaries that serve around the world. Every first Sunday of the month is our BGMC Celebration Sunday where children bring their buddy barrels filled with an offering to help our missionaries buy tools they greatly need--such as Sunday School materials, puppets, textbooks, Bibles, and much more. Each child in High Voltage is a part of this fun ministry.
• HIGH VOLTAGE PUPPET TEAM is our high-powered, jr. high-driven performance team. The High Voltage Puppet Team has performed before several hundred people from the main service on special holiday events to our Annual Kidz Summer Fun Fest with a wide range of performance styles and techniques. Many live performances take place each week at High Voltage.
• MINISTRY TEAMS provide the hard work and dedication behind each service and big event at High Voltage. Split up into three color-coded groups--Red Team, Blue Team, and Green Team--they are responsible for the leadership and high energy found in each service and event. Well-trained and equipped, we ensure the highest quality in our leaders and staff.

Providing a safe and friendly environment with fun-loving teachers, KINDERCHURCH is the Sunday morning children's service for 3-5 year olds. Children each week enjoy craft time, snack time, play time, story time, and God time! Kinderchurch is well-staffed with screened and qualified teachers and assistants. Just like our nurseries, Kinderchurch is well-equipped with age appropriate games and toys. We also provide the highest concern and care for the safety of the little ones and their health--all toys, carpets, counter tops, chairs, tables, etc. are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. Join Kinderchurch Teachers, JoAnna and Karen, every Sunday on the 2nd level at 10:00 a.m.

 

 

 

 

NURSERIES are provided for all babies 0-2 years old during Sunday a.m. and p.m. services as well as other special events and functions. Well-staffed with fun workers, the Good News Nurseries are a place where safety and cleanliness are top priorities. Good News Nursery Coordinator: Donna Morgan.

ROYAL RANGERS is an exciting opportunity for boys and young men to discover a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This life-changing ministry is one of America's largest and foremost Christian boy's mentoring programs. Open to all boys and young men interested, Royal Rangers meets every Sunday night from 6:00 - 7:30 on the 3rd Level. Good News Royal Ranger Commanders: Forrest Loven and Bob Zwilling.

MPACT GIRL'S CLUB is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In additiona, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage them to be spiritual leaders at home, school, and beyond. Join us this Sunday night! Located on the 3rd Level, Mpact Clubs meet from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Good News Girls' Coordinator: Sharia Goodlet.
